Automatic: each photo is saved in this browser's private Receipts collection, with the scan and recognised text. This is not iCloud Drive. To keep a second copy in iCloud, use the Save to iCloud button below after reviewing your receipt. Clearing Safari website data can remove this archive.
Checking local storage…
1. Capture & clean
Photograph a receipt or pick one from Photos. Text recognition starts automatically.
Choose a photo or take a new one.
Recognition uses Tesseract.js, a free on-device OCR engine. Internet is required the first time to fetch its code and language model. Photos are not sent to a cloud OCR service.
2. Review & export
Receipt type appears here after recognition.
Edit every line before exporting. A digital copy should reproduce the source, including any VOID, declined or refund status.

Set up iCloud saving Once per iPhone
Receipt Studio can securely hand three files to Apple Shortcuts: your original photograph, cleaned scan and digital PNG. The website itself cannot silently write to iCloud Drive.
- Open Files → iCloud Drive → Receipts → Setup and tap Receipt Studio - iCloud Save.shortcut to import it into Apple Shortcuts.
- In Shortcuts, open that shortcut's Save File action. Set its destination to iCloud Drive → Receipts → 2026 → Incoming, switch Ask Where to Save off, and allow it to appear in the Share Sheet.
- Back here, tap Save receipt to iCloud and pick Receipt Studio – iCloud Save from the iPhone sharing menu.
Important: Your iPhone must authorise this shortcut once. No background uploading is possible from this website. After the shortcut finishes, verify the files in iCloud Drive → Receipts → 2026 → Incoming.
If your browser cannot open the share menu: press and hold the image, then choose “Save to Photos” or “Save Image”.
Digital copies are OCR transcriptions, not issuer documents. Printed barcodes or QR codes are preserved in the original and scanned photos, not recreated in the typeset PNG.
